How is Availy different from a spreadsheet or group text?
Availy replaces the back-and-forth of spreadsheets and texts with structured workflows: staff submit availability before the schedule is built, time-off requests have a clear approval flow, and shift coverage requests go directly to teammates—all tracked in one place.
How do shift coverage requests work?
When someone can’t work a shift, they request coverage from teammates on their team. A teammate offers to take it, and the manager approves the change—no manual coordination.
Can I manage multiple teams and schedules?
Yes. Your organization can create unlimited teams, each with its own schedule and roster. Billing is based on active users, not team count—so you’re never charged extra for adding teams.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed per organization with a set number of included users. You can subscribe through the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe on the web. Plans and prices may change with reasonable advance notice, as described in our Terms of Service.
